ATLANTA—May 2, 2021—Ozzie Albies, second baseman for the Atlanta Braves, announced the launch of his new line of T-Shirts for the 2021 season. The Atlanta Braves are a young and exciting speedy team this year, and Ozzie is a key player. The idea behind Ozzie’s clothing company is to have a closer connection with the public. He wants the fans to share in the fun of baseball, life and his favorite dog, Puchi. Albies truly appreciates his fans, and he likes to have fun with them. Ozzie plans to look up into the stands and see them wearing all the unique designs which fit well, look good and stand out from the crowd. Each limited-edition design is unique and meaningful to Ozzie, especially “OA” (Ozzie Albies), “Puchi the Dog”, “Never Give Up” and “Always Believe In Yourself.”

“I decided to create my own company when my girlfriend Andreia mentioned she was having a difficult time finding unique shirts with my name on them,” said Albies. “Since I love to wear comfortable sweatpants and a well fitted T-shirt, sharing original designs seemed to be a great place to start. I want my fans to learn more about me and learn the story behind each shirt.”

Albies was born in Curacao, and his grandmother used to call him Puchi when he was a kid. “I decided to pass down the cute name to my furry son, and he looks great on the T-shirts,” Albies added. “Our favorite dog Puchi is a star in his own right, an Instagram influencer and part time OA model. His cuteness is perfect for the shirts.”

Ozzie Albies’ t-shirt designs are available in Adult and Youth sizes and are printed locally in Atlanta. 5% of every purchase will be donated to a local charity chosen by fans.
